RUSS OSBORNE

1936 - 2006

Russell Carman Osborne, beloved husband of Marlene Osborne of Taber,  passed away with the comfort of his family upon him, at the Taber  Hospital on Monday, June 12, 2006 at the age of 69 years.
Russ was born in Olds, Alberta on October 11, 1936 to Norman & Helen  Osborne. He married Marlene Wells March 2, 1959 in Lethbridge and  together they raised their three children. He worked for the M.D. of  Taber for twenty four years. Russ loved the outdoors and cherished  the time spent at their “lot” boating, fishing and hunting. He  enjoyed visiting with friends and relaxing with his dog Sparky.
Besides his loving wife Marlene of forty seven years, he is survived  by his children Carol (Ed) Veldman of Monarch, Rod Osborne of  Lethbridge, Linda (Rick Ehret) Osborne of Airdrie and by his  grandchildren Amber, Braiden and Morgan. He is also survived by his  brothers Calvin (Alice) Osborne of Valleyview, Lloyd Osborne of  Quesnel, B.C., Gary (Sandy) Osborne of Elk Point and by his brother- in-law Don (Sherran) Wells of High River.
Russ was predeceased by his parents Norman & Helen Osborne in 1973,  his father-in-law Charles Wells in 1976 and by his mother-in-law  Louise Wells in 2004.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel,  5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. with  Reverend Frank Lewis of Southminster United Church in Lethbridge,  officiating. Interment to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
