1926 - 2004

Clifford Frank Owen, beloved husband of Lee Owen of Wrentham, passed away in Taber on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at the age of 77 years.  
Clifford was born at Wrentham on July 18, 1926, the son of May and Leslie Owen. He was raised on the family farm and received his schooling in Wrentham. He married Lydia (Lee) Rossol on June 19, 1950. They farmed and ranched in the Wrentham area until the time of his passing. Clifford enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, rodeoing, basketball and curling in his spare time.  Very special to Clifford was the time spent with his children and grandchildren.  
Besides his loving wife Lee, he is survived by his children Alzona (Dale) Brown of Foremost, Cameron (Karen) Owen, Ross (Shelley) Owen and Richard (Rosemary) Owen all of Wrentham;  five grandchildren Jamilyn and Owen Brown, Nicole (Danny) Paul, Koltan and Zade Owen; great grandson Cody Paul; brother Lawrence (Emma) Owen; sisters Eugenia Tilbrook and Lily May Friesen; and brother-in-law Bob Russel.  
He was predeceased by his parents May and Leslie, brother and sister-in-law Doug and Jesse Owen, sister Florence Russel and brothers-in-law Jack Tilbrook and Henry Friesen.  
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the church prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 P.M.  
The Funeral Service will be held at the Wrentham Community Church on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jim Chapman officiating. Interment to follow in the Wrentham Cemetery.
