PEARL BODNAR

1905 - 2005

Mrs. Pearl Bodnar, beloved wife of the late Mr. Mike Bodnar, of Taber, passed away at the Taber Hospital on Sunday, January 30, 2005 at the age of 99 years.
Pearl is survived by her daughter-in-law Mary Bodnar; her two grandsons Fred (Carol) and their children Brad (Kristin), Craig and Tammi; Garry (Pat Perl) and his children Andrea (Derek) Lutz and Erik; Allan's children Mitchell and Nicole; and by her great great grandchildren Kennadi and Dallas.
She was predeceased by her husband Mike, her son Frank and her grandson Allan.
Pearl was born June 17, 1905 in Kekcse Szabolcs Megye, Hungary. Pearl and Frank immigrated to Canada with their son Frank on April 27, 1939. In 1949 they purchased a farm in the Bonayr District. In 1965 they sold the farm to Frank and Mary and retired to the town of Taber. For the past five years she has been a resident at the Taber Continuing Care where she resided until the time of her passing.
The Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church, 4929-50 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Jim Lochhead officiating.  Interment to follow at Taber Memorial Garden.
