MARGARET PIERSON

1941 - 2005

Margaret Patricia Pierson of Lethbridge (formerly of Vauxhall), passed away at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at the age of 63 years.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Pam Pickard (Kellen Wickenheiser) of Taber, her son Bob Snaith (Brenda Lutz) of Medicine Hat and by her three grandchildren Carol, Stacy and Tyra.
She was predeceased by her parents Ed & Margaret Pierson and by her brother Gary Pierson.
Margaret was born July 6, 1941 in Lethbridge and raised and educated in Iron Springs. After she married, her years were spent raising her children before she started driving school bus in Vauxhall and even spent a summer in Banff driving tour bus. She was the first person in Canada to receive a dual transplant,  liver and kidney, in Toronto in 1989. She was a brave fighter and a free spirit who was an inspiration to all who knew her during her illness. Margaret loved to spend time in her yard, gardening and painting. She will be deeply missed.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Southminster United Church "Buchanan Chapel", 1011 - 4 Avenue South, Lethbridge on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. with Reverend Frank Lewis officiating.
