SHAWN RUGGLES

1976 - 2004

Shawn Christopher Ruggles, beloved son of Les and Dianna Ruggles of Taber, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2004 at the age of 27 years.  
Shawn was born on July 23, 1976 at Calgary General Hospital.  He was raised in Calgary, Bonnyville, Edmonton and Taber.  He graduated from St. Mary's High School, Taber in 1994 and went on to earn his B.B.A. degree from Trinity Western University. Following graduation he taught English as a second language in Japan.  Shawn was an excellent and diligent student, was serious minded, adventurous and passionate.  He was always concerned for the welfare of his family and inquired of each one and their personal development. Of special interest to him was his beloved niece Elora.  He loved all sports and especially enjoyed the hiking trips with TWU student friends.  
Besides his loving parents Les and Dianna Ruggles of Taber, he is survived by his sister Rachelle (Richard) Wiebe and their daughter Elora of Calgary and brothers Dale and Lyle Ruggles of Taber; his grandparents Lawrence and Tina Pierson of Grande Prairie and Harry and Marion Ruggles of Bow Island and also by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.  
He was predeceased by his grandmother Ruth Pierson in 1989 and his great grandparents.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, Corner of Hackney Dr. & Hwy.36, Taber on Friday, January 30, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Ron Gartly, of the Evangelical Free Church, officiating.  Interment to follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
