WENDY VIROSTEK

1956 - 2005

Wendy Louise Virostek, beloved wife of Kevin Virostek of Coalhurst, passed away at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on Monday, August 8, 2005 at the age of 48 years.
Besides her loving husband Kevin, Wendy is survived by her son Scott (Tammy) Virostek and her granddaughter Kassidy of Taber, Her son Brett Virostek, her grandson Brodyn, Brett's special friend Dawn Korner and Dawn's daughter Emma all of Calgary. She is also survived by her father John Jespersen of Taber, her brothers and sisters John (Leah) Jespersen, Tom (Marsha) Jespersen, Lynne (Dan) Dorchak, Roberta Odland, Bruce (Brenda) Jespersen, Tim (Deb) Jespersen, Patti Mann and special friend Greg Carter as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. Wendy will also be remembered by her mother & father-in-law Shirley & George Virostek and by her brothers-in-law and their families Darcy (Deb) Virostek, Sheldon (Geri) Virostek and Blaine (Pat) Virostek.
She was predeceased by her mother Bette Jespersen and her infant brother Gordon Jespersen.
Wendy was born September 21, 1956 in Taber where she was also raised and educated. She married Kevin Virostek at the Knox United Church in Taber, July 10, 1976. She was employed as a bookkeeper & accountant for many years. She was a national slowpitch champion and enjoyed reining horses, flyball, photography and her animals. Her greatest joy in life was the birth of her children and grandchildren. Wendy loved her family dearly and will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, August 11, 2005 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Friday, August 12, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Ken Crassweller officiating. Interment to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
