1927 - 2006

Lenard Paul Wesley passed away in Edmonton on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the age of 79 years.
Lenard was born near New Dayton on August 8, 1927 and was the son of Paul & Eldora Wesley. He received his schooling at the Owens school and later at the Wrentham school. He then moved to the Edmonton area where he was employed in the oil industry for Westburne Drilling.
Lenard is survived by a granddaughter Dalyce Wesley-Leeder (Henry), her mother Rose Wesley and her grandmother Dorothy Cunningham; his siblings Berniece Meldrum, Harold (Laura) Wesley, Cecil (Bea) Wesley, Ethel May (Neil) Slimmon and Arnold (Sharon) Wesley. He is also survived by a sister-in-law Joyce Wesley, brother-in-law Roy Ondrik and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Lenard was predeceased by his parents, a son Jack, brother Larry Wesley, sister Grace Ondrik and a brother-in-law Don Meldrum.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Peter Walker officiating. Interment to follow at the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
