The Lord Is My Shepherd

Bernard Bouwman, beloved husband of Joan Bouwman of Vauxhall, went home to his Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the age of 78 years.
Besides his loving wife Joan of 46 years he is survived by daughter Christine (Hendrik) Van Dyk of Red Deer and family; son Robert Bouwman of Edmonton; grandchildren Jesse (Amanda), Jasmine and Nicholas and great granddaughter Summer; brothers and sisters Annie (John) Nieuwenhuis, Ted (Hennie) Bouwman, Herman (Claudette) Bouwman, Agnes (Menno) Klunder, Uilke (Wynne) Bouwman and Jacob (Dorothy) Bouwman; sisters-in-law Nancy Bouwman, Shirley Van Der Ploeg and Alice Van Der Ploeg and Teresa (Peter) de Graaf.
Ben was predeceased by his parents Lubbert and Uilkje Bouwman; brother Rudy and brothers-in-law Jan and Harry Van Der Ploeg.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, November 15, 2008 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
A private family burial will take place prior to the Funeral Service with Pastor Jim Zondervan officiating.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Vauxhall Mennonite Brethren Church, 320 - 9 Street North, Vauxhall on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Ken Easterbrook officiating.
