1939 - 2010

Thomas William Norman passed away in Taber on Monday, March 22, 2010 at the age of 71 years.
He is survived by two daughters, Diane and Donna and sister Bertha May Sprinkle.
He was predeceased by his parents Harold & Irene Norman and brother-in-law Ken Sprinkle.
Tom was born February 27, 1939 in Lethbridge to Harold and Irene Norman. He was raised and educated in Vauxhall. He spent most of his life farming, but he was also a jack of all trades - master of none. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion and he also enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, playing baseball and was a great story teller. Tom was fond of animals and had a variety over the years which included a monkey, his dog “Pete”, horse “Tex” and his greyhounds.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, March 28, 2010 between 4:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, March 29, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Wil Stonehill of St. Theodore’s Anglican Church officiating. A private family burial will take place at the Vauxhall Cemetery.
