In 1968, Dick & Fanny Humphries chose to relocate the ‘Humphries Funeral Home’ from their southside location at 5107 - 44 Avenue to our present location, the former ‘Sugar Bowl’ bowling alley. Judy and Terry Reardon purchased the Humphries business on October, 1, 1974 and operated as Reardon’s Funeral Service until they changed the name to Southland Funeral Chapel in 1983. This facility was renovated extensively in 2009. (click left or right of photo for additional images)
