Gary Katrusik

1942 - 2025

 Gary Wayne Katrusik, beloved husband of Phyllis Katrusik, passed away peacefully in his sleep, at home in Taber on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at the age of 83 years.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Monica’s Roman Catholic Church, 502 Carbon Avenue, Bienfait, Saskatchewan on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. Burial to follow at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan, Saskatchewan.

Besides Phyllis, his loving wife of sixty two years, Gary is survived by their children Laura Lee (Greg) Himmelspach of Taber, Tracey Wawryk of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Jodi Katrusik of Calgary and Gary (Diane) Katrusik of Estevan, Saskatchewan; grandchildren Cory, Nolan and Kendra Himmelspach, Lindsay and Jeremy (Kristina) Wawryk and Breanna and Hunter Campbell. He is also survived by his brother Ed (Janet) and sister-in-law Nola (Terry).

He was predeceased by his parents Metro and Emily Katrusik; his siblings Norvin, Ken and Linda; nieces and nephews Bradley, Kendra and Krista; brothers-in-law Rick Olson, Garry Fox and by numerous aunts and uncles.
