Gary Schaeffer

 Gary Gerald Schaeffer, passed away in Vauxhall with Norine, his loving wife of twenty nine years by his side, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the age of 73 years.

Besides his loving wife Norine, Gary is survived by his sister Carol Stein (Erwin), his brother Brian Schaeffer (Sue) and his two sons, Rick Schaeffer and Randy Schaeffer (Tina). He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Gary was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan August 29,1952 to his mother Jean Bley, who predeceased him. At a young age, Jean moved Gary and his siblings to British Columbia. Gary and Norine met in Cranbrook, British Columbia on September 13, 1996 at the KOS pub and have been together ever since. They moved to Vauxhall in 2007 and bought their home together where they continued to reside until his passing. Gary spent most of his life as a roofer and a trucker and he was a very reliable, hard worker.

Never forgotten, always missed, forever loved.

Relatives and friends were invited to gather at the Corona Bar, 501 - 2 Avenue North, Vauxhall on Friday, October 10, 2025 between 2:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
