Phyllis Katrusik

1943 - 2025

 Phyllis Catherine Margaret Katrusik (née Hagel), passed away unexpectedly in Calgary on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the age of 82 years.

Phyllis is survived by her children Laura Lee (Greg) Himmelspach of Taber, Tracey Wawryk of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Jodi Katrusik of Calgary and Gary (Diane) Katrusik of Estevan, Saskatchewan; grandchildren Cory, Nolan and Kendra Himmelspach, Lindsay and Jeremy (Kristina) Wawryk, Breanna and Hunter Campbell. She is also survived by her sisters Donna Sinclair, Gail Fox, Diane (Jack) Olson-Messham and Margaret (Garry) Moore; brother Ron (Bev) Hagel, brother-in-law Ed (Janet) Katrusik, sister-in-law Nola Katrusik (Terry) and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Gary Katrusik; her parents Anton and Natalie Hagel, stepmother Helen (Ray) Marriott and parents-in-law Metro and Emily Katrusik; sister Sharon Hagel in infancy and sister-in-law Linda Katrusik in infancy; brothers-in-law Rick Olson, Gary Fox, Norvin Katrusik and Ken Katrusik; nephew Bradley Olson, nieces Krista and Kendra Katrusik and by numerous aunts and uncles.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Monica’s Roman Catholic Church, 502 Carbon Avenue, Bienfait, Saskatchewan on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. Burial to follow at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan, Saskatchewan.
