Linda Lee

1959 - 2026

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Linda Charlene Lee, announce her peaceful passing in Taber on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the age of 67 years.

Left to treasure her memory are her children Lindsay Workman of Taber and her children Jenner and Emery; Amanda (Kenny) Rabusic of Taber and their children Rain, Jase and Kade; Donny Lee of Taber and his children Lily and Londyn. She is also survived by her parents Bob and Fran Dyck; siblings Brenda Larson, Dianne (Dale) Herzog, Robert (Dana) Penner and Bev (Darren) Walstra along with many nieces and nephews and their children.

She was predeceased at a young age by her father Art Larson.

Linda was born in Innisfail on May 22, 1959 and grew up throughout southern and central Alberta. She graduated from Picture Butte High School in 1977 and then married and soon after welcomed Lindsay, Amanda and Donny. The family moved to Taber in 1988 where Linda raised her family and lived in the same house until her passing.

She stayed home to raise her children when they were little, and then she joined Canada Post as a postal clerk. Linda dedicated over twenty three years of service with Canada Post, until 2013 when early onset dementia forced her to leave her role. She loved her time there, getting to know everyone in town and making lifelong friends.

Linda had a wonderful green thumb, growing a huge vegetable garden every year, and her yard and house were filled with flowers and plants. She was an excellent baker, making huge batches of homemade buns and filling a freezer so full of Christmas baking, that it would last until the following year. Time spent baking together, making crafts, making chocolates and enjoying family traditions are treasured memories.

After bravely starting a new chapter of independence in 2004, she went on many adventures to various places including Nevada, Mexico, Costa Rica and Hawaii. Linda loved the sunshine and even tried parasailing and zip-lining. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and was so excited to become a grandma in 2010. She loved Jenner, Lily, Emery, Londyn, Rain, Jase and Kade with all her heart. Time together was always fun, playing cards and boardgames, going to the beach, reading to grandkids, singing and dancing in the kitchen, and giving the best hugs.

Her legacy of love and strength will live in our hearts forever.
