DAVID COURTS

1967 - 1998

David Courts, beloved husband of Patricia Courts of Vauxhall, passed away suddenly in a motor vehicle accident near Brooks on Thursday, March 12, 1998 at the age of 30 years.
David as born in Cold Lake on April 30, 1967. He received most of his education in Fort McMurray, later moving to Claresholm where he graduated from high school. He married Patricia Schultz on June 16, 1990 in Grassy Lake. They resided in Lethbridge for a short period before moving to Vauxhall. David enjoyed running and participated in various marathons and sporting events. He liked fishing at Beaver Mines and teaching his children how to fish and play various sports.
David is survived by his wife Patricia and their two children Chelsea and Jeffrey of Vauxhall; his parents Arthur Courts of Fort McMurray and Barbara Smith of Claresholm; sister Barb Pampoo; brothers Steve and Randy Courts and parents-in-law Richard and Anne Schultz.
Relatives and friends met with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, March 17, 1998 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the Vauxhall Mennonite Brethren Church, 320 - 9 Street North, Vauxhall on Wednesday, March 18, 1998 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Leo Siemens officiating. Interment followed at the Vauxhall Mennonite Cemetery.
