1942 - 2001

Ronald Roy Haynes, beloved husband of Linda Haynes of Taber, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2001 at the age of 58 years.
Ron was born on October 7, 1942 in Taber where he received his schooling. Ron married Linda Turner March 30, 1961. He was employed in the oil field industry at a young age. At the time of his passing he owned and operated Trico Oilfield Service. Ron enjoyed farming, ranching, raising thoroughbred race horses and being in business with his sons. Ron and Linda enjoyed their winters in Arizona spending time at the racetrack, golfing and quail hunting in the desert.
Ron will be sadly missed and forever missed by his wife Linda; children Gregory (Barbara) Haynes and their sons Lee, Jared and Tylin; Tamara (Peter) O’Donnell; Ryan (Michele) Haynes and their daughter Calista; mother and step-father Edna and Mel Ronspies all of Taber; brothers and sisters Norma (Don) Weir of Stavely, Betty Haynes of Ladner, British Columbia, Connie (Keith) Gross of Vauxhall, Fred (Bernadette) Haynes of Stavely, Ruth (Guy) Yuzicapi of Okotoks and Donna (Wayne) Soderlund of Calgary; mother-in-law Iona Turner of Taber and brothers-in-law James (Nancy) Turner of Calgary and Monte Turner of Taber and also by numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by his father Glen, sisters Joan Thacker and Debra Louann Wentz and father-in-law Fred Turner.
The Funeral Service was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, July 14, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop Richard Sugden conducting. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
