Norman “Gun” How of Taber, passed away at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on Thursday, November 2, 2000 at the age of 69 years.
Norman was born at Taber on July 29, 1931 the son of Charles and Kay How. He received his schooling in Taber and for a number of years operated the Cameo Confectionary. Norman will be remembered for his passion for cars and motorcycles. He was a very caring and gentle man with a strong spirit and will. His legacy will continue to be carried, and will live on in the hearts of his children.
Norman will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his children, Fenwick How and his wife Stacy and their children Ryan and Carter of Houston, Texas; NormaJean Nagy and her husband David of Lethbridge; and Vincent How of Victoria, B.C. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Herb How of Vancouver, B.C, Robert How of Taber, Alice (Joe) Woo of San Jose, California, Irene (Grant) Lee of Calgary, and Ruth (Harvey) Lee of Lethbridge. Norman will also be missed by his friend and companion, his cat “Tommy”.
Norman was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Kay; an infant sister Margaret and two brothers, Willie and Gordon.
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, November 7, 2000 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Jim Lochhead officiating. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
