Barb Capner

1939 - 2020

 Barbara Capner, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband Art and their six children in Taber on Friday, May 1, 2020 at the age of 80 years.

 As a result of the restrictions regarding COVID-19, and the government’s recommendations, a private burial service was held at the Abbeville Cemetery, Deerhorn, Manitoba. 

 Besides her loving husband Art, Barb is survived by her children Joanne Rasmussen (Brent Dymont) of Winnipeg, Florence (Randy) Roberts of Winnipeg, Annette (William) Sowinski of Maccoun, Saskatchewan Delwin (Karen) Capner of Langdon, Darryl (Alyssa) Capner of Redcliff and Waylon (Danielle) Capner of Taber; thirty grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.

 She was predeceased by her daughters Connie Capner and Bernice Capner as well as numerous other family members.

 Barb was born November 17, 1939 in Pelly, Saskatchewan to Herbert and Grace How. She was well known and will be remembered for her love of cooking, baking and her large family get togethers.
