FUNERAL SERVICE AUDIO RECORDING

Joylane Bullock

1932 - 2020

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our loving mother, Joylane Anna Bullock who passed away in Lethbridge on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the age 88 years.

As a result of the restrictions regarding COVID-19 and the government’s recommendations, a private funeral service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, Taber on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Burial followed at the Barnwell Cemetery.

Joylane is survived by her daughter Dianne Jensen of Lethbridge and her children Ryan (Cynthia) Cradduck and Sally Cradduck; daughter Cathy (Terry) Kopp of Lethbridge and her children Chas (Mitch) Torrie and Charmin (Mike) Holt; son Ron (Lucy Anna) Jensen of Millet and his children Amy (Ron) Soetaert, Niels Jensen and Kalen (Adrienne) Jensen; grandson Kyle Fehr as well as her great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sisters Madeleine (Richard) Campbell and Marilyn (Harry) Heinricks.

She was predeceased by her husbands Robert Jensen and Calvin Bullock; son Sheldon Bullock; parents Steve and Mary Filgas; siblings Edward Filgas, Lloyd Filgas, Cecelia Bell and Rosella Bennett; sister-in-law Florence Filgas; brothers-in-law Darrell Bennett and Gordon Bell.

Joylane was born November 2, 1932, growing up on the family farm in Purple Springs during the dirty thirties. Life was hard and it taught her to be thrifty and the value of hard work. She survived many health issues in her younger years. Mom was never idle and was always walking. Joylane worked at WR Myers High School as cleaning staff and later at the KFC in Taber. She always had a smile and a positive attitude. Joylane lived at the Clearview Lodge for many years which allowed her to be close to many of her lifelong friends. As a family we are very grateful to the staff there. You took great care of our mom, thank you.

Mom is at peace and has returned home to her Heavenly Father.
