Arnold Gertzen

1937 - 2022

Arnold Hugh Gertzen passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the age of 84 years.

The Funeral Service was held at the Vauxhall Mennonite Brethren Church, 320 - 9 Street North, Vauxhall on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. Burial followed at the Vauxhall Cemetery.

Arnold is survived by his sons Kevin (Cindy) Gertzen, Keith (Kim) Gertzen and Kurt (Amanda) Gertzen all of Vauxhall as well as his grandsons Rylan (Ashley), Braden, Logan and Connor. He is also survived by a brother Richard Gertzen; brother-in-law Gil Pakarno; sisters-in-law Verna Lees and Linda McAughey as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife of forty seven years Marie Gertzen (née Pakarno); daughter Karen Gertzen; parents Lawrence and Jean Gertzen and brother Lewis Gertzen.

Arnold loved farming and ranching, some o f his fondest memories were of time spent in the field or out in the corrals working with cattle. He looked forward to his daily trip to the coffee shop and visiting with family and friends. Arnold will be missed by all.
