VICTOR YAROSLAWSKY

1942 - 2006

Victor Lazar Yaroslawsky, beloved husband of Lenora Yaroslawsky of Hays, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2006 at the age of 64 years.
Besides his loving wife Lenora, Victor is survived by his son Jim (Darlene) Yaroslawsky of Hays and their children Cassidy and Colt, his son Ron (Kyla) Yaroslawsky of Wetaskawin and their daughter Corbin; his mother Katie Yaroslawsky and brother David Yaroslawsky both of Stettler.
He was predeceased by his father Lazar Yaroslawsky, his son Richard Yaroslawsky and his sister Sonja Yaroslawsky.
Victor was born at Rosemary, Alberta on May 3, 1942. He received his schooling and spent his early years in the Retlaw and Vauxhall areas. He then worked for the CPR and it was during this time he married Lenora Glas on December 14, 1963. In 1966 they moved to Stettler. In 1968 they moved to Brooks where Victor was employed with the Brooks Co-op for sixteen years. In 1980 they moved to Dawson Creek, British Columbia before retiring back to Hays in 1984. During his retirement years, he kept busy with Gibson’s Energy and also was self employed with a Hot Shot service. Victor loved to hunt and fish. His greatest joy in life were his grandchildren of whom he was so proud!
The Funeral Service will be held at the Hays Community Centre, Hays, Alberta on Friday, August 25, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. A private family graveside service will follow at the Hays Cemetery.
