LEONA MEHLHAFF

1932 - 2000

Leona Barbara Mehlhaff, beloved wife of Eugene Mehlhaff of Lethbridge, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2000 at the age of 68 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Barbara Kress, brother Edward Kress and sister Theodore Wolosuk.
She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 42 years, Eugene, as well as their seven children Lori (John) Koop, Eugene Mehlhaff Jr.(Angie), Cindy (Geoff) Philo, Shane (Laurie) Mehlhaff, Duke (Bambie) Mehlhaff, Cathy (Allan) Smith, Terry (Shelley) Mehlhaff; eleven grandchildren Mark and Carmen Koop, Michael and Christopher Philo, Robyn, Jenna and Bryson Mehlhaff, Ashley and Kade Mehlhaff, Austin and Morgan Smith and one great grandchild Jessie Hannah Koop.
Leona was a wonderful mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family and faith in God.
Relatives and friends were invited to Prayers at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, July 27, 2000 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, July 28, 2000 at 11:00 A.M.
