Treyten Trevor Halvorson, beloved son of Tara and Trevor Halvorson, passed away unexpectedly with his dog Winter by his side near Taber on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the age of 23 years.

Trey is survived by his Dad and Mom, Trevor and Tara Halvorson; his son Weston (and Weston’s mother Gracie), who was his world; his brother Cole (Caitlin) and niece Blake. He will be fondly remembered by his grandparents Gordon Chiles (Donna Hamel), Linda Wiebe, and his GG Moma Marie Wright; aunts Bambie (Duke) Mehlhaff, Kari (Tim) Ellis, Billie-Jo (Brad) Ferguson and Laurie (Dion) Schlosser. He will be deeply missed by all his close cousins and will be forever remembered by all the people he came across leaving a lasting impression for all.

He was predeceased by his sister Montana Halvorson, his grandparents Larry and Brenda Halvorson, his GG Papa Lionel Wright, his great grandmother Lea Beth MacDonald and his great grandfather Sydney Chiles.

Trey graduated from W.R. Myers High School in 2020. He loved operating and learning to fix machinery and vehicles with his idol, his dad in the garage, as well as fishing every chance he got.

More than anything, Trey loved to spend every minute he could with his son Weston, his pride and joy and his eyes lit up every time Weston was around him.

His smile was contagious, his personality infectious and he lit up the room wherever he went. He had the biggest heart and cared deeply for everyone, big and small.
