Dale Rombough
1935 - 2026
Arthur Dale Rombough, beloved husband of Dorothy Rombough, passed away in Lethbridge on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at the age of 91 years.
Besides his loving wife Dorothy, Dale is survived by their children Ricky Rombough of Lethbridge and Mindy Dunphy of Vauxhall; grandchildren Judy Parker and Bob Brown of Brooks, Kimberly Phillips and Dallas Howlett of Lethbridge, Melissa and Reg Isaak of Morinville, Jessica McNiven and Andrew Foster of Lethbridge, Dale Rombough of Edmonton and Stephanie and Jason Racine of Lethbridge; great grandchildren Sarah Parker, Daylen Parker, Griffin Mack, Isobel Isaak and Declan Isaak.
He was predeceased by his Daughter Dalene Phillips, son Randy Rombough and sons-in-law Ken Phillips and Tony Dunphy.
Dale was born in Taber on January 24, 1935, to Clarence and Edith Rombough. He was raised in Grassy Lake, where he attended Red Deer Park School. In 1949, Dale and his family moved to a farm in the Travers area, where he continued his schooling in Enchant.
Dale married Dorothy Connor in December of 1955. Together, they built a wonderful life and raised four children, Dalene, Rick, Melinda and Randy.
In 1967, Dale started his own construction company, Dale Rombough Earthmoving Ltd. Through his hard work, dedication and determination, he built a successful business.
After retiring, Dale and Dorothy enjoyed many years of travelling together in their motor home. Their adventures took them to many places, including Alaska, Vancouver and across the eastern provinces. They enjoyed the freedom of the open road and the opportunity to see and experience new places together. Eventually, Dale and Dorothy purchased a lot at the Cowley Boat Club, where they spent many happy summers. It became a special place for them, filled with good times, family, friends and many cherished memories.
Dale will be remembered for his hard work and the many years of memories he created with those he loved.
A private burial service will be held at the Vauxhall Cemetery, prior to the funeral service.
The Funeral Service will be held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 12:00 P.M.
