LUISE MUELLER
1920 - 2007
Luise Mueller of Taber, beloved wife of the late Heinrich Mueller, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2007 at the age of 87 years.
Luise leaves to cherish her memory her grandson Jason Lee (Amy) Mueller of Orange, N.S.W. Australia; granddaughter Angie May (Ed) Osler of Taber; two great grandchildren Brysen & Marison Horst of Taber; daughter-in-law Marilyn Currie of Taber and two nephews Nick (Sheila) Melnik of Seven Persons and Ron (Wendy) Melnik of Medicine Hat.
She was predeceased by her parents Johan & Katharina Muller; her devoted husband Heinrich Mueller; two sons Karl Mueller and Friedrich Mueller; brother Karl Muller, brother-in-law Nick Melnik and sister-in-law Barbara Melnik.
Luise was born May 5, 1920 in Krafelbach, Kreiss Schwabish, West Germany. She married Heinrich Mueller February 24, 1945 in Tenental, Kreis Schwabish. In 1953 Luise and Heinrich immigrated to Canada with their two sons Karl and Friedrich. Luise hoed sugar beets for many years to help bring in income for their family. In 1957, Heinrich and Luise purchased an acreage south of Fincastle. Here the family raised a variety of farm animals and nurtured a large garden. She had a green thumb and the abundant produce grown in her garden was generously shared with family, friends and neighbours.
Luise moved into the Clearview Lodge in Taber in July 2006 where she resided until her passing. The staff found her a very pleasant resident, always thanking them for each little service they rendered to her.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, August 3, 2007 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 4619 - 56 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Carl Bogda officiating. Burial to follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.

The family would like to thank the management and staff of Clearview Lodge and Luise’s close friends for their concern, care and assistance over the past year. The family also wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at the Taber Hospital who assisted in Luise’s care and also for the kind support and comfort they rendered the family during her final hours.
