Minnie enjoyed music and dances, which she and her husband attended many of in their younger days. She and Peter lived and farmed in Retlaw until Peter’s passing in 1982. Minnie then moved to to Vauxhall, where she lived for several years until August 1995 when she became a resident of Clearview Lodge. In January 1998 she moved to Taber Continuing Care due to failing health. She was an accomplished cook, baker, and was good at sewing and crocheting.
