1922 - 2002

Carol Joan (Lotz) Nessman of Taber, beloved wife of the late George Nessman, passed away in Taber on Thursday, November 21, 2002 at the age of 80 years.
Carol was born August 19, 1922 in Bengough, Saskatchewan to John and Irene Lotz. She married George Nessman on December 13, 1943 and moved to Taber in the late 1940’s.
She loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, golf, curling and bingo. Even after she no longer participated in these sports, she faithfully watched them on TV. She was also a great animal lover and will be missed by Suzy, her cat.
She will be forever missed by her children and grandchildren Deanna (Ron) Johnson of Kamloops, British Columbia and their children Kerri (Eddy) Patterson and Tara (Ryan); David Nessman; Dennis (Monalie) Nessman of Calgary and their sons Chad and Ryan; Cheryl (Randy) McGarva of Taber and children Jay and Shane Sinclair; Wendy (Malcolm) MacAulay of Calgary and their children Jenna and Scott; Jerry Nessman and his children Nicole, Melanie and Diana (Chuck); Valerie (Terry) Nordlof of Calgary and their children Mitchell and Thomas; and Bradley (Sue) Nessman of Taber and their daughter Jylian; and great grandchildren Maslynn and Max Patterson, Kameryn Moriyama and Katelyne Carbert.
Carol was predeceased by her husband George in 1994.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, November 24, 2002 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, November 24 at 10:30 A.M. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
