DARREN MULNER

1966 - 2001

Darren Michael Mulner of Taber, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, June 17, 2001 at the age of 35 years.
Darren was born at Calgary on February 2, 1966 the son of David and Jane Mulner. He began his schooling in Calgary and later attended the Kinniburgh School grades five and six. Darren also went to St. Mary’s Catholic School completing grades seven through ten before leaving home to become a member of the Notre Dame Hounds at the Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Wilcox, Saskatchewan. For the past sixteen years Darren has lived his life in a wheel chair overcoming many obstacles. He made the most of his life and enjoyed cooking, swimming and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Darren will be forever remembered by his parents David and Jane Mulner of Purple Springs; his brother Kelly Mulner of Calgary and his sister Alex Ann Mulner of Missoula and her fiance Robert Gearheart and his daughter Rachel; his grandfather Henry Mulner of Taber as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins his pet cat Pleasure Gilrose.
Darren was predeceased by his grandmother Jean Mulner; grandparents Mr. & Mrs. John A. and Anne Fettig; his aunt Donalda McArthur and Uncle Don McArthur.
Relatives and friends were invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, June 19, 2001 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Jim de los Angeles celebrant. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
