Flavia was born on December 8, 1950 in Ville del Monte, Italy and immigrated to Taber in 1954 where she attended and graduated from St. Mary’s. She worked for AGT and later Telus, first as an operator and then as a draftsperson, responsible for planning new subdivisions and developments. When the Lethbridge office closed in the early 90s, she moved to Grande Prairie. At the time of her passing, she was employed with ATCO in the same capacity.
Flavia always had a flare and talent for interior decorating and her home was always changing and was admired by her many friends in Grande Prairie. She also enjoyed knitting and sewing which she started at a very young age. Many family members and friends received knitted sweaters as birthday gifts and Christmas presents.
