1934 - 2017

Victoria Ziebert, beloved wife of the late Emil Ziebert, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the age of 83 years. 

The Funeral Service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. A private burial was held at the Taber Memorial Garden. 

 Vicky will be lovingly remembered by her children Gord Ziebert of Lethbridge, Shannon Struyk of Lethbridge, Vickie Lynne Snell of Calgary, Jennifer Boh of Lethbridge and Cheyanne VanOostenbrugge of Lethbridge; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and her special friends.

  Vicky was the thirteenth child of fourteen children born to Fred and Maria Warawa. She learned her hardworking ethic early, growing up in Lac La Biche, Alberta. In 1955 Vicky moved to Taber where she met Emil and they were married January 4, 1956. Together they raised their children on the family farm. Vicky was an active member of the Legions Ladies Auxiliary. She worked for many years for Bodies Women’s Wear and IGA. Mom and Dad enjoyed long hours playing cards with family and friends. Vicky loved to feed the family with her famous perogies and German bullets. She was particularly proud of her children, grandchildren and all their many accomplishments.
