1919 - 2019

 It is with deep sorrow the family of Freda Mikalson announce her passing at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the age of 100 years.

 A private burial service was held at the Taber Memorial Garden prior to the funeral service.

 The Funeral Service was held at Peace Lutheran Church, 4619 - 56 Avenue, Taber on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. 

 Though she was ready to go “Home”, she will be dearly missed by her family. Freda is survived by her daughters Mavis (Ron) Hann of Pincher Creek, Linda (Barry) Worth of Edmonton and Carolyn (Derek) Malcolm of Calgary; sons Dennis (Pat) Mikalson of Coaldale, David (Shirley) Mikalson of Red Deer, Daryl (Lourene) Mikalson of Calgary, Elwood (Carol) Mikalson of Calgary and Ron (Bev) Mikalson of Taber. Mom also leaves her grandchildren Lyle (Jackie) Hann, Rhonda (Russell) Johnson,  Jennifer (Greg) Leusink, Bonnie (Dennis) Mikalson-Andron,  Kevin (Ashley) Worth, Darren (Kim) Worth, Melanie (Scott) Worth,  Natasha (Shaughn) Krec, Clayton (Karen) Mikalson, Daley Mikalson, Kelda Mikalson, Kaarina (Ryan) Mikalson, Colin (Andrew) Schaeffer, Donald (Sophie) Mikalson, Tommy (Katie) Mikalson, Kimberly Mikalson, Sean (Megan) Mikalson, Andrew (Ashli) Malcolm and Kelly (Ryan) Malcolm, as well as twenty six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Tillie Gray of Abbotsford, British Columbia and Lydia Gray of Saskatoon,  Saskatchewan as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

 She was predeceased by her baby granddaughter Heather Malcolm, her parents John and Caroline Jackle, three brothers and two sisters.
