Margaret was born December 12, 1924 in Manitou, Manitoba and grew up on the family farm. She later moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba as a young girl and worked in the Winnipeg Coat Factory, sewing coats which enabled her to be a good seamstress throughout her life.

On June 20, 1952, Margaret married her soul mate and the love of her life, George Cameron and they resided in Enderby, British Columbia for many years. This is where their three children, Myrna, Mervyn and Dolly, were born. The family later moved to Donald, British Columbia in 1963 and then on to Golden, British Columbia. Margaret spent the next sixty years living in the Golden/Nicholson area, loving the mountains and beautiful trees and always admiring them so. She spent the last few months of her life in Taber, surrounded by her family.

Margaret was a great cook and took pride in having delicious meals and desserts served. She had a great love for animals, always having dogs and cats in her life. In the last few years she faithfully fed and pampered rescue cats.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Margaret's name may be made directly to Little Mittens Animal Rescue, 100 Fisher Road, Golden, British Columbia VOA lHO ( or phone (250) 939-8085).

The family would like to thank and are extremely appreciative for the Abbeyfield House in Golden, the Clearview Lodge in Taber and to Dr. Yawney, Dr. Hughes and the wonderful nurses at the Taber Hospital for the awesome care and compassion and kindness showed to Margaret.
