It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Donald Osmachenko announce his passing in Vauxhall on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the age of 36 years.

A Prayer Service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M.

Michael will be sadly missed by his mother Cheryl McGann (Ken Mackenzie) of Taber and his father Walter (Lise) Osmachenko of Westlock; his brothers Matthew Osmachenko and Jeffrey McGann; step sister Sheena Mackenzie and step brothers Jesse Mackenzie, Cody Bisson and Cory Bisson. He is also survived by his maternal granmother Judy Barnett and step grandparents Leo and Marguerite Lafond and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his step brother Derek Mackenzie; his grandfathers Jack Barnett and Patrick McGann; his paternal grandparents Donald and Ruth Osmachenko and step grandmother Grace Kelly.

Michael was a loving and caring son with a kind soul. He was very much adored. He loved dirt biking, quadding, skidooing, camping and fishing. Michael loved doing mechanic work and took pride in his work. He was an awesome lego builder and collector, something he had a real passion for. He loved his fur babies Gus and Sophie whom he adored.
