Anna Wutzke

1932 - 2024

With sadness, the family of Anna Irene Wutzke wish to announce her death on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the age of 91 years. Anna passed peacefully while surrounded by family and friends after a short stay at the Bow Island Health Centre.

The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 1113 - 1 Street East, Bow Island on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. A private burial followed at the Bow Island Cemetery. 

Anna is survived by her two children Ron Wutzke and Bobby Wutzke; daughter–in-law Carol Wutzke (née Jones Harmon); sisters Eleanor Collins (née Roth) and Kathleen Carpenter (née Roth); brother-in-law Ed Carpenter; sister-in-laws Roberta Roth (née Miller), Vi Roth (née Altin), Verna Roth (née Erickson) as well numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves one grandson by marriage and three loving great grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by her husband Jim Wutzke; her parents Agnes and George Roth; brothers George, Robert and Lester Roth; her sister Margaret (Roth) Wyrostok and brother-in-laws Terry Collins and Garry Wyrostok.

Anna lived her entire life in the Bow Island area. Until the age of 90, she was living independently before moving to the Pleasant View Lodge. She will be missed by all who knew her.
