LANCE YUHAS

1952 - 2010

Lance Stephen Yuhas passed away in Taber on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the age of 57 years.
Lance is survived by his son Michael (Michal) Yuhas; two daughters, Seana Yuhas and Melissa (Blake) Smith all of Medicine Hat and by eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Jeni Gibson of Taber, sister Darlene (Gary) Westhora of Calgary and sister-in-law Louise (Bill) Wutzke of Bow Island. He will be fondly remembered by two aunts, Anne Mikla and Anne (Bob) Thorne and their families; two uncles, Joe (Marylyn) Yuhas and George (Pat) Yuhas and their families.
He was predeceased by his father John Yuhas on June 8, 1968, his step father Harold E. Gibson on November 2, 1996 and his brother Terry Yuhas on June 23, 2007.
Lance was born at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary on October 27, 1952. He was schooled in Calgary and Taber. Lance was most recently employed by the Rogers Sugar factory.
A Burial Service will be held at the Taber Memorial Garden on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 1:30 P.M.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Lance’s name may be made directly to the Taber & District Health Foundation (Continuing Care), 4326 - 50 Avenue, Taber, Alberta T1G 1N9.
The family wish to acknowledge and thank Dr. Brendan, Dr. Wes Steed and the nursing staff at the Taber Hospital for their patience and care shown to him. Also, a special thanks to the Hebig family for caring for Lance.
