Adam Cunningham
1992 - 2025
Adam Cunningham, beloved husband of Haley Cunningham, passed away in Taber on Monday, July 7, 2025 at the age of 33 years.
The Funeral Service was held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 5205 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. with Life Celebrant Shelly Bassett officiating.
Besides his loving wife Haley, Adam is survived by his parents Peter Cunningham (Fe) of Taber and Jean Menard (Thomas) of Lethbridge; brothers Justin Cunningham (Brandy) of Taber, Eric Cunnigham (Kelleigh) of Coaldale and Ryan Cunningham of Taber. He is also survived by his father-in-law Kevin Jobson of Hines Creek and will be mourned by his extended family from around the world and by his many close friends.
Adam was born in Lethbridge on February 1, 1992. He was the youngest of four boys and was a lifelong resident of Taber. Adam was homeschooled until he entered public school in Grade 5 at Central School. During his high school years, he loved to play badminton and had a passion for crafting furniture and other projects in shop class.
Adam worked at Safeway (now South Country Co-op) for a number of years both during and after high school. He explored a number of careers, including Roddy’s Oilfield Service, Frito Lay, Wade’s House Moving and the Viterra Bean Plant, until he found his passion working at College Ford of Taber. Adam initially started as a warranty and service adviser, but his hard work and charismatic personality led him to become the parts manager. He pursued post-secondary education while working at Ford and earned his Red Seal as a journeyman parts technician in 2023.
Adam met the love of his life, Haley Jobson, in 2015 and they married on August 11, 2018. They were inseparable from the start and enjoyed outdoor adventures together including fishing and hiking. Adam’s greatest passion was weightlifting and physical fitness, so the pair spent countless hours at the gym together, always encouraging each other to get ‘one more rep’. While they didn’t have children, their family was complete with their dog Yogi and cat Nami.
Adam had a wonderful sense of humour and took joy in making others laugh. He had a generous, kind heart and an unforgettably warm and infectious personality. He was always ready and willing to help anyone who needed it. Adam will be truly missed by all those who knew him.
