Jean Ahlstrom

1946 - 2025

 Freda Jean Ahlstrom, passed away in Taber on Monday, December 15, 2025 at the age of 79 years.

Jean is survived by daughter Karen Schmitke of Brooks and her grandson Tristan Hunter Blue; daughter Peggy (Gary) Crumb of Jarvie and her children Andrea (Dustin) Gibson (their children Morgan, Dylan and Aiden), Stephanie Jean (her children Ethan and Chance), Travis Jean (his children Meeka and Estella); son Ernie Varga of Whitecourt; sisters LaVerne (Dave) Sawatzky, Sharon Kerkhoff and Millie Archer as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 She was predeceased by her husband Roy Ahlstrom; grandson Chris Varga; parents John and Helen Archer; sister Shirley Elgie; brothers-in-law Danny Kerkhoff and Henry Jurgens.

The Funeral Service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
